On back-to-back days, the Boston Globe has published transphobia-soaked opinion pieces, first by its new token neocon and today by a former Harvard professor who left to join the American Enterprise Institute because of how, in her own words, "growing campus DEI bureaucracies strangle free speech."

At this time, in this climate, with daily mental, emotional, and sometimes physical assaults on anyone who does not fit a white, heteronormative mold, the most important media outlet in New England thinks its audience should hear from people who want to cheer those assaults on.

That is the choice the Globe is making. And it's empowering people like Seth Moulton to distinguish between vote-blue-no-matter-who Dems who want to win without doing any work to create change, and those of us who actually want the lives of vulnerable people to be made better.
