Serious question though: Why speaker phone? I don't get why people hold the phone a foot from their face and talk on speaker rather than hold to their ear and talk normal

It has DEFINITELY gotten worse, but I was a public bus driver back from 2007 to around 2011 and people were doing it then, too. It was CRAZY how often I had to gentle parent full-assed adults because it was distracting.
