My Twitter user number is in the low four figures. I'd been there since the very beginning and it was really really hard to give up all hope and admit it was donezo, but it was beyond over when I locked my account and fucked off last November. There is no reason to stay.
I've been off Twitter for I think two years or so and I have honestly forgotten what it was like to be on there. I have gotten a lot of benefit out of this site. But social media platforms come and go. They are not real life, which some seem to forget. Leaving them doesn't mean disappearing.
Yeah, it takes some effort to rebuild connections and find new channels to reach people, but it's totally possible. The people are out there.
