Hauntoys come in three variations with distinct forms. These broken toys search for someone to treasure them despite their battered bodies and often form bonds with others like them; each making up for the other’s weaknesses.

Arapiki will happily wade in soups to give them a nice kick. They can easily withstand water temperatures up to 100˚ C and beyond. Water that Arapikma swim through can get so spicy that it can burn skin on contact. Luckily they are mostly ocean dwelling fish.

Due to overhunting, Lamentide's fins have gained the ability to act on their own. This has decreased the desire to serve the once popular soup. Once the fins have rejoined the body, Refingence’s rage reaches a tipping point and now exists to seek out its hunters.
