I saw a video showing how in Italy they shake the trees, catching all the fruit in a net spread over the ground in the groves. But they have shaking machines. Maybe MeanCat can give it a good stare, that tree will be shaking in its boots soon enough!
I think they put up nets then shake the branches to get 'em down.
oh, and to shake the branches you need a long pole w/ V shape to put in the branch so you can stand on the ground but still poke it hard enough for the olives to fall. .

Wow! I know they are growing these over in Lanier County, but I didn't know they could grow here.
Bought it at herb creek in 2016 I think. Was in a giant oak barrel for a year. Then planted. It’s gotten seriously large. It’s happy
In Italy they have machines that shake the tree… I guess you could try doing that manually?

If you want the fruit to fall, you have to get the tree to shake. (Don’t shake the tree to hard. The bough will break. )

Lay a large cloth beneath the tree when the olives ripen. Then shake it hard😂

You need Meancat to climb the tree and bat them into a net for you.
