Thanks! He was not born with them. They were transplanted from a raven person through an inhumane experiment. Though the process isn't going to be detailed because he's from a concept of mine made for a 10-year-old demographic. He still has some trouble flying with wings compared to natural fliers.
That same experiment is also why he is so pale, has dark sclerae, and has the ability to naturally harness Dark elemental Energy. He used to be an ordinary human with no special powers. He looked like this. Though these are roughish sketches that are subject to very minor detail changes.
