This is why I don’t tolerate adult women being called “girls”. There’s a tendency to infantilize women in their 20s and 30s, and too much pressure on girls to grow up too quickly. They seem them as women because in their eyes it justifies what they did.

It's not just women in their 20s and 30s. I'm 65 and get called "young lady" ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Drives me insane, especially if it's from someone who means it as a compliment.
