Any airport that requires you to wait on an internal transportation system that could be delayed or break down should be disqualified.

I grant this is pre-9/11 thinking but you should be able to sprint from your ride to the gate without being dependent on a system not of your own will and power to be considered a great airport.
I see you've spent time in Denver...
It’s stunning to get off a plane in Denver from Chicago and go from the racial variety the world has to offer to the margherita pizza of humanity in under two hours.
"margherita pizza of humanity" is a little harsh but yeah, the difference here from growing up in Seattle is striking.
Yes, I was a bit harsh. But the Denver airport demo is way different than Denver the city.
Or ATL lol
No, you can walk between concourses in Atlanta. That’s not an option on Denver.
I once had to switch gates at Minneapolis and I HAD TO GO THROUGH SECURITY to do that. I mean, after going through security to get into the airport at the first place.
Hello bad design.
Back before Orlando's new international terminal opened some arriving flights would be dumped into the general concourse which meant if you were leaving that concourse and going to another (for example, leaving the lounge you were in for your flight) one you'd have to go back through security.
Damn that’s wild! I would be so annoyed!
I hope they've fixed it since then. This was in the mid-teens.
Were you connecting from an international flight?
To be specific: Madison, Wisconsin to MPLS to CLT.
Nope!
Weird.
I once had to run through Denver for a connecting flight it was rouuuugh. Also there was a bird in the atrium!
This is LAX’s greatest failure. The fact that it is a bus that takes you to the airport by almost every approach just starts every trip off with bullshit.
