Wish we could fix the mess in Texas with AI! Republicans here just voted to redraw district maps to eliminate 5 Democratic districts (mostly black & Hispanic areas) & turning them into Republican leaning districts. California Governor Newsom is trolling Trump & is going to do the same for the Dems.

I’m reading that Newsom’s response will eliminate far more red districts though, so will it be a pyrrhic victory for Texas GOP? Or will it not move the dial? Haven’t seen any analysis on this yet.

Wish I could move back to CA but my daughter & SIL are pilots and need me to take care of my grandchildren when they’re gone. I do NOT like anything about Texas…not the weather & especially not the politics! 🤬

I don’t think anyone knows. The red states governors will probably all get on the TX bandwagon, so blue states governors will have to play tit for tat. Everyone is furious w/Trump bc he told Gov Abbott (TX) he needed 5 more Republicans in the House of Representatives to keep control.

This is an incredible situation. I mean, if you step back and really appreciate the battle that’s going on here…

I think we need to see THE EPSTEIN FILES and shame the President and all his hypocritical Christian Nationalist supporters. What a bunch of phonies!
