Never has there been a more blatant example of corruption than this nazi tycoon buying himself into the highest office.

This has been the goal of neoliberalism. The destruction of the government programs so corporations can privatize key sectors of the economy. If you want an idea of what this looks like just look at the late 19th and early 20th century. Liberalism caused WW1, the great depression, and WW2.

Neoliberalism is a reintroduction of liberalism. This has been the political system of both parties for the past fifty years. Since Carter, every president has been a neoliberal. Congress has been dominated by neoliberals. It is the global mode of production.

This is what happens when you make government institutions so weak they collapse immediately when a literally locks the front door. Neoliberalism has brought things like private prisons, our current housing market, and the inevitable climate crisis. It has dismantled regulatory institutions.

Basically, every problem regarding the economy and society can be blamed on neoliberalism. And, since there is no serious communist party in the United States I doubt there will be any push back as we transfer to fascism. This is what both parties want.

This is why the Democrats haven't put up a fight at all. This is why the party leadership is frustrated with groups calling on them, begging them to do something, the bare minimum at least. But, they won't because the current economic system benefits them.

How many congress members have been caught doing insider trading? How many have faced any consequences? How many members of Congress obstruct bills that would benefit the working class? How many members of Congress end up on boards of corporations that have blocked these bills?

They do the bidding of the wealthy and get kickbacks for doing this. This has been going on for decades. Now it's just out in the open.
