So instead of saying "there won't be midterms" say "I'll fight to my last breath to make sure we can vote and that our vote will count." I know what we're up against but I'm not throwing in the towel today.

Sorry, Mara. Yes, not you. We must not concede in advance. People will stay home if they do not believe their votes will count. It's time to say, boldly, that we WILL vote and it WILL count and we WILL make damn sure it does. We WILL assist others to register and to vote.

I really don't think that's primarily what happened. Why would millions less or Democrats vote then voted for Biden? It just doesn't make sense. Everyone I know would have voted for a stuffed animal if trump was the only other choice.

It doesn't make sense or seem plausible to me either, and I have the same suspicions as you do. That's why I believe we need to push forward and make our voices heard.

You can be sick of hearing it but it doesn't make it any less or more true. trump said it himself. "If you vote for me there will never have to be another election again". And nobody wins every swing State and especially not by margins within points of what would trigger automatic recounts.

These negative comments can turn off voters from even showing up. Our goal must be to inspire and motivate every one to register, vote, track the vote to make sure it's counted, and to get 5 others to do the same.

I disagree. If what I believe to be the truth hurts? Sorry. I do agree with motivating NEW voters but everyone else knew what was at stake and I don't think they stayed home. But the elections have to be free & fair and I don't think that's the case. You don't have to agree with me. That's OK.
