You want them to honor a “generic” picture. There’s no such thing as a “generic” Native American other than to an ignoramus.

Oh my God they make generic pictures of every person on the f****** planet so why can't they make an Indian?? Are they so f****** special that someone can't make a generic picture of an Indian? As long as it's not negative or degrading. Seriously get over yourselfy you sound like an arrogant indian.
I’ll ask you this: what does a generic European look like? French guy with a mustache and a beret? A British soldier with the red coat? An Irish guy with a kilt? Pick one. It’s a ridiculous question right?
And it’s ridiculous because there’s no generic European. And to think that there’s a generic Native American that wears a headdress and shouts out battle cries is also ridiculous. You’re not honoring anything other than the stereotype of a “Indian” most Americans grew up knowing.
So no, they’re not special. They’re just like everyone else…and we wouldn’t do it for everyone else either.
It's just a f****** fictitious picture!!!! So we shouldn't have a generic logo of a basket player or a picture of a pregnant woman or a picture of a hero in the military according to you. You have some psychological issues thank God it's not you making the decisions.
Yes it's whatever someone wants them to look like. That's exactly my point. It's the freedom of whatever you believe you want something to look like whether it's a man or a woman as long as it's not degrading and it's not a picture of a real person. It's just a school logo, f*cking grow up.
Ah yes, ok. We’ve finally landed on it. Honoring Native Americans by depicting them however we want them to look.
There's absolutely nothing offensive about that picture no different than depicting a king a queen a soldier a captain anyone else. What the f*** are they supposed to do, draw a circle with a happy face? It's just because you don't like it. F***** grow up and stop being a f***** victim.
That "generic" image is based on a racist stereotype. Native mascots have been shown, repeatedly, to cause harm to Native children, partially because they reinforce stereotypes, which carry extra weight because of a consistent lack of representation for Native Peoples in mainstream society.
You are crazy beyond words. These kids look at this logo as something wonderful. Native Indians want to own everything indian and scream racism to continue being a victim. It's a fictitious picture. it doesn't matter what living creature it is as long as it's not shown in a harmful or degrading way.
Native children are harmed by these logos, it's an undisputed fact. Non-Native children are harmed because they are having stereotypes reinforced they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. This is how harm is perpetuated. We aren't "creatures" we are living human beings.

Seriously, get over your f****** self. Every time I see a depiction of a Frenchman am I going to be seriously injured for the rest of my life because I'm French and he's depicted with a big nose? You're ridiculous. It hurts no one. You just think you're better than any other people or race.
Native american. Indians live in India.
