I would agree with that. The subversive racism in theology is passed down. Some good & kindness as well perhaps. But the world has fought for a very long time over religion. Catholic vs Protestant. Jews against Muslims. All in the name of God & Church. We cannot run from it.

You may not need religion in a general sense but reality is that children of Orthodox members of any religion are taught to dislike anyone of a different faith from an early age. The argument is that religion exists. It often leads to war & destruction. 5 Billion worship diff Gods in this world.
