My firm went to 4 day work years ago, one of the best things we've ever done. More creative, more productive, happier, healthier people. Great for attracting the brightest and best, and keeping them too.

Exactly! Productivity, collegiality, collaborative powers, flourishing all happen when we aren’t slaves to a system that wears us down and make us exhausted. People also tend to spend more time outdoors, caring for & communing with nature, read and learn differently, etc. Profits the entire globe.

Yup. We mostly do volunteering of some sort, or I'm on a protest or the nature reserve, community allotment or something. Also means you can schedule Drs appointments and stuff for that day so the other 4 days we are full strength as a team. All work from home too. Much better.

USians need to try this more. People are stressed out, getting ill from overwork, productivity falling, unhappiness in toxic workplaces, etc.

I think everyone should! I'm getting pretty old now and have some long covid too, just could not put in the work I do without that rest day. It lets me go full blast at things when I need too without burning out completely.
