The mayor has pretty much just said he'd file a lawsuit which is akin to doing nothing. Even if it was successful, you'll have NG in Chicago for months upon months before it possibly gets through court.

Isn't there some sort of preemptive legal move they can make with an emergency order or something to prevent the deployment? I'm not a lawyer, so I'm seriously asking because damn, I totally agree with you that once those troops hit the ground, it's not going to be good.
