Pixelfed is a great replacement for Instagram. I haven't been using it for very long, but so far, it's been great -- and free -- and it's not owned by a billionaire. pixelfed.org

Thank you. I was wondering what people were talking about when they said pixelfed. Have you looked at VERO? It’s owned by a billionaire, but he’s got standards. VERO stands for truth, no ads, no advertising, chronological posting —app still being developed…. Lots of photos being shared on this site.
