No, we shouldn't just reverse things, we should improve on the prior systems. They dismantled what had been cobbled together. We should reimagine how well things could be done and implement universal systems that protect the weak and poor.

Reinstall/reinstate key knowledge professionals, reinstate systems and THEN reimagine. Reimagining is going to take decades. We MIGHT have 4 years.

You are correct that we will need to reinstall the institutional knowledge base no matter what, and systems that they run. And, I feel like it will be important to take the destruction and create something better. There is no reason defining something better shouldn't start NOW.
