Ellis was disbarred, and convicted ( guilty plea ), though on different charges the end result is the same. To have a civil society, hate can play no role in any capacity. Every person has a right to practice their religion, but no right to push on others and invade my own rights.

Earlier this year Ellis returned to past form, working with a conservative evangelical ministry. She now has a full-time job with American Family Association as senior adviser on public policy.
I assume the same principle applies to those of us who might be tempted to have sympathy for insurrectionists. But of course it does not. The Trump philosophy of “OK for me but not for thee” clearly applies.

The absolute audacity and sense of entitlement someone has to have to say something like that, straight to your face, while seeking your services, is obscene. I hope your response gave her at least a slight nudge toward self reflection and awareness, but I doubt it.
