I've been getting this criticism a lot. And though that might be true, every single Democrat voted to release the files and every single Republican voted against it. Maybe it was 'performative' on the Dems part...but if republicans had voted with them, the files would be coming out.

The Dems knew the GOP wouldn’t cross that line. This is classic Dem behavior: perform resistance they know will fail, then pretend their hands are tied. Where was all this righteous fury about Epstein during Biden's term? Nonexistent. That said, I'd take a Democrat over a Republican any day.
