Gavin Newsom has no interest in helping you. if he won’t help immigrants, he will not help you. He responds to one thing, pressure. I’m not gonna hurt his feelings into not redistributing. But maybe together we can pressure him to actually protect people.
Pressure matters, but saying Gavin has no interest in helping is just false. He’s one of the few standing up to Trump and ICE when others won’t. I’m not under the illusion that Newsom is a selfless saint. It is in his interest to protect democracy, and that’s exactly where we’re aligned, because >>>
