Implementing nation-wide mask mandates may have gained more votes for Trump than doing nothing lost votes for Biden/Harris. Few people still mask despite it being an easy precaution.

Did Biden propose stricter shut down measures. I find that hard to believe. I can believe he didn't follow through on safer schools etc. Agreed, Biden's record was abysmal. So was Trump's.

I find it interesting that Canada stopped routine COVID vaccinations a few years ago, but it resuming this fall.

I don't think they stopped, they just weren't as pushy about it. I've been getting one roughly every 6 months but you have to call, they don't send out reminders anymore.

Yes. I still have go through the government to book though. You should be able to just walk in.

The pharmacy I have gone to will accommodate walk-in patients whenever they can. Kind of a hit and miss situation.

Ya seems a little loosey-goosey. I just checked on-line BC gov site and it's "we'll send you an invite". No option to book.

Depends on the province. I’m in Ontario & the last 2 autumns I’ve received a COVID shot at a pharmacy for free at the same time as a flu shot. Seniors can get it twice a year for free. I don’t think anything will change this yr in Ontario, but in Alberta many will have to start paying for the shot.
