What I find so frustrating about these dumb takes is 1. Farming might be some of the hardest labor on earth 2. Most of the people on welfare are incapable (for a multitude of reasons) of working any steady job...forced or not.

All they see is "lazy people", they have no concept beyond that And they would rather punish the poor than see them uplifted. If someone who they see as inferior can be made their equal it demeans them (in their own mind). It's why equal rights to some means their rights lesser
