Is anyone else watching more game trailers live on Steam store pages since Valve updated the video player? Before the update if I saw a Steam page linked here I’d go to YouTube to search for the trailer and watch it there rather than watch it in the native player 🤪

Yeah! I didn’t even realize I was doing it, but the autoplay has I guess accidentally happened enough that I gleaned that it works just fine now, forgot that they updated!

I still do the same thing: let it load while I skim the description, then I skip to about a third of the way and see if it grabs me. The only benefit I see is that it's slightly more responsive.

Yes, it's much better now. Being able to skip boring parts of trailers instantly with loading makes a big difference! Previously, I would close the page, now I can at least find and watch the gameplay part ;)
