@bsky.app still doesn't have the ability to upload regular gifs. Have requested multiple times but zero response from bsky. They aren't interested in user interface improvements. Still no button to save a post either.

It's kind of surprising how much better I am at detecting errors once I have posted the actual comment. One reason is my repeated use of voice to text, which actually seems to be worse than it was 15 years ago. Randomly inserting punctuation without instruction.

Yes! Randomly capitalizing words that don't need capitals. Inserting punctuation I don't want and deleting that which I do want. Unable to tell the difference between the words 'and' or 'in'. I would love the option to edit within 5 to 7 minutes of posting!!

I think the absence is an effort to teach us to re-read the post before hitting reply. I have spinal stenosis so my fingers have reduced my typing speed from 60 wpm to 5 wpm so now I have time to read and still have typos.

how about: the posts that have chosen to limit who can respond should also be limited to who can like. if i cant engage, im not going to like. instead i mute/block. OR just make the post viewable to the chosen ones? NIMBY posts should go to xitter or fakebook if they want limited engagement.

I mute every single account that posts without the option of replying. I don't understand why they put it on my discover page. And I don't care if there are Congressman or a known author or whatever if I can't comment on your post here you're muted.

It wouldn‘t be helpful, after we have reposted or liked a post the user can edit any bullshit and change it completely. Could be very confusing.

Threads has a 15 minute window for typos, and it seems to work fine. Reddit marks comments when they have been edited and that also works.

I remain skeptical. If I have liked or reposted something, I don‘t go back and check if there has changed anything.

Maybe they can somehow make it where the edit option is only available a few minutes after the initial post, or something like that.
