Sly was a great artist. A POS human. Drug addict supreme and he screwed over every one in his life and in his work. Read his autobiography. Watch the clip on YouTube with him and Muhammad Ali. He wrecked his life after 2-3 years of great music.

I have been so looking forward to this but have not watched it. Weird, I know. I use Summer of Soul when teaching documentary units and focus on the Sly and the Family Stone segment. We just got a Crikit, so I’m wanting to do cutouts of the lyrics of Everyday People to put on my classroom door.
