Since insurance covers measles shots 100% any hospitalization that results from someone not being immunized should be paid 100% by the idiot who refused to get the shot. Why should we have to pay higher premiums because someone listens to wackos like RFK Jr. instead of doctors?
If a child though, they have no choice that they were born to idiots.
Anyone can still get the vaccinations when they turn 18.
I know in WA state at 13yo a child can legally request medication. In my line of work ran into parents who didn't want to treat conditions such as ADHD and the social worker had to inform the child that they had rights at 13 if they wanted to proceed. Unfortunately most follow the parents thinking.
