They do it because there is no consequences for the lawyers or the administration for doing it. If the courts started throwing lawyers in jail and sent recommendations for law license revocations to the state Bars things would change.

To encourage more criminal behavior without consequence, Trump pardon's the Jan 6th convicted felons and hires them as ICE agents, pays off Ashlii's family for $5 million with Ashlii's given military burial combined with pardoning Flynn, Bannon, Stone, et al. The Bar has crapped it's own bed.
