Love to have 280 hours of leave backing up on me and not taking any despite it being a perfect week to do so because we were all holding our breath for cataclysmic organizational changes to come out at any second and for everyone to go into emergency work mode and shit-their-pants crazy.
Sounds like a real model of efficiency and I’d like to know a bit more about what I’m funding here.
Imagine tens of thousands of well-paid white-collar employees who do "policy" but instead marking time with excruciatingly little to do because there is little to no policy guidance forthcoming from a spastic White House and gutted NSC.

I hate to be all Gen XYZ on this but that's your earned comp, you need to take that. The organization will probably fall apart with or without you so don't worry about it.
