The book Why Civil Resistance Works 📖👀 (Chenoweth & Stephan) analyzed 1900–2006 campaigns: nonviolent ones succeeded ~53% of the time vs. 26% for violent. No nonviolent movement with 3.5%+ participation failed—though Chenoweth warns this isn’t a magic formula.

It's actually a strategy created by Chenoweth for the US military; which they successfully used in their Colour Revolutions and their Arab Spring.
