I actually did the maths on that for Sara earlier and it's "only" a bit over double SFWA minimum pro rates (they raised them from 5c/word to 8c/word a year or two back). It's a ridiculously good rate by any standards, even ignoring that it's a tiny organisation run by two multiply-marginalised women
Oh that's right I forgot about the increase! But still. (I also remember being taught to never accept less than three cents a word for first rights, ha.)
