If you don't have it already, perhaps try downloading elgato's "Game Capture HD" program which can change the settings on your capture device and see if your mic is selected under the "Live Commentary" tab and mute it. Or go into Windows' microphone privacy settings and remove elgato's permission
I don't know why I'd be having this issue now all of a sudden Before it used to share the audio of the screen being captured now it's just sharing my microphome audio and only the mic audio Just downloaded the game capture hd software and it's already showing the live commentary is muted
In obs the audio is fine, but in discord screen share its not playing any audio except for my microphone (which means no audio right now since ive unplugged my mic)
On discord are you screen sharing the obs preview window, or what?
If so, make sure monitoring is turned off for your microphone in advanced audio properties. If not, maybe try screen sharing the elgato hd capture window instead?
There is no obs involved whatsoever. Obs actually isnt having an issue funnily enough, the game capture audio comes in more than fine, just discord is not accepting any audio from the game capture, any other share screen is fine except this
Screen share, devices, game capture hd60 s That's it. That's what ive done before to show friends switch and PlayStation gameplay before and ive never had this problem. Now its not sharing any audio (ive gotten it to stop sharing my mic audio somehow so thats a plus)
