It’s all of a piece, isn’t it…hyper-individualism. There is a disdain for the fact that we all live together in a society and there is a social contract to care for one another, thanks to years of being told they’re victims of a cartoon villain version of anyone not MAGA.

They don't even understand what the social contract is. Plus it has the word 'social' in it, so obviously it's bad. 'hyper-individualism' is a great way to put it. But I'm not entirely opposed to another word I saw on this 🧵... 'troglodyte' also works.
