It's been a very long time since I kept up any subscriptions but I used to have them by the dozens. It was always great when they came in and you'd go get a fresh stack. Heaven

There was a period around 2000 were there were was an explosion of great titles, which is when I started reading comic books as art, but it was always collected volumes.

To this day I maintain Sandman and The Wire are the greatest narrative works outside of the prose form. And I recognize Gaiman has been shown to be a horrible person, but I bought all those books before anyone knew better.

100 Bullets, Preacher, DMZ, Sleeper, The Boys, The Loser were the great stories for me. I love the adaptation of The Boys, I’ve heard good things about Preacher and I’m a bit surprised 100 Bullets has never been adapted

Meh, any money he’s see already happened, and the story is still amazing, I don’t see any reason to get rid of the books I own.

As a SA survivor it revolted me to have them in the house. I had to get rid of them for my well being and in solidarity with the people who came forward with the truth. Meh is not the word in my mind. I’d rather leave his legacy in ashes than on my shelves

I respect that and I’m sorry for your experience. While I’m particularly sensitive to that for my own reasons it didn’t outweigh the value of the story, given that he’d already gotten my money? Does that make any sense?

I hope I was clear, while I'm not a survivor os sexual violence, some of the women I love most in the world are, and I absolutely didn't mean to make light of it
