I feel bad for the missing children. They didn't ask for this and now they're suffering the consequences. I hope the children are found alive and unharmed.

Absolutely. I feel bad for the adults too, because as we Americans now know, you don't always get the leader you wanted....and that leader may not be an accurate reflection of the citizens. See Russia, Israel, Hungary, etc etc
