It's insane. I don't think most anti-Zionists are antisemitic, but all too often, instead of condemning specific acts or policies or treating history somewhat intelligently, many go right to tropes and smears and generalizations about Jews or deny our origins, and that is very much antisemitism.
I’ve posted this like 10 times at this point, but remain convinced until things change it is evergreen bsky.app/profile/samm...
The back and forth of the comments is itself confusing, I'll just say Fuck Israel
Don't wear your Star of David necklace while driving on I 95, virginia through Georgia, or any US Hwy....Unless you want to test that
This is probably what happens to Black conservatives when they tell white people that racism is bad.
black people have BEGGED non-black people to stop using them as a constant comparison. every plight is distinct and deserves its own conversations
Anyone throwing that word is suspect, as it has been used with an evil disingenuousness that we all are disgusted with, done with Hatred of Jews or Palestinians or people from Ohio, just because of who they are, is wrong But that word connects to evil excuses for violence to many people
especially the ones saying they've never seen this or demanding examples of it. my fellow gamers, the reply section you're posting in is right there! scroll a page or two!
Just tripping over themselves.

I find my own position - that Israel has the right to exist, but not in the form or functioning it is now - difficult to express effectively.
My opinion is that *people* have an inherent right to exist, but *states* do not. I would not be down for the mass murder of Israeli Jews, but I would be fine with either the state of Israel being dissolved and a new polity created, or [1/2]
the "Basic Laws" (i.e. constitution, more or less) heavily revised to remove the ethnocentricity.
Yes, I have the same problem.
I thought Zohran Mamdani's line "I believe Israel has the right to exist as a state of all its citizens" was a pretty good pithy encapsulation of this position, except I would swap in "inhabitants" for "citizens" and add "within its internationally recognized boundaries" at the end.
Oh my G-d. I am utterly ashamed.
I suspect that Egypt would prefer that Gaza on its border to what is there now.
