According to EHRC, trans men won’t be allowed to use women’s facilities if they “pass” (and trans women won’t be allowed to use men’s facilities). We have to use “third spaces”, which we should advocate for with the enormous power we obviously wield. Something, something, respect and dignity.
They can’t have it both ways. If the use of female only space is now based on chromosomes, trans men go into the ladies No ifs, no buts 😊
Unfortunately the Supreme Court said they can. It doesn’t have to make sense. The judgement doesn’t make sense anyway: it fixes an “inconsistency” by creating another one. It doesn’t even have to comply with ECHR in the short term, because it will take years to do anything about that.
