I used to work in DC (lived in NoVA). It was a great town then, & crime rate is even lower now. That said, its population is not one I recommend FA with, because you WILL FO. They are the people who run the town that runs our nation & help other nations & people do the same. 1/
The people of The District are the people who TEACH others how to stand up to tyrants and warlords. They’re the ones who run NGOs, & the ones that build and run institutions. They encounter world leaders so often that it is routine. They’re the ones that really run this country. 2/
The people who live & work in DC are have watched administrations and regimes come and go. Whether they’re Senate staffers or the homeless gentleman that alerts people how much time they have until the next VRE arrives (❤️ & 🙌) - they’re smarter & more resilient than this regime. 3/
