I certainly don't find it funny. Tesla needs to pay for putting these dangerous vehicles on the roads.
Seeing as Musk is Trump's bestie, that ain't happening anytime soon.
Sad but true
I snorted way too loud at this
It’s hilarious
Oh, yes. Hysterically funny. In fact, it’s what I call “Here’s your Darwin Award, super genius” funny. Oh, you’re dead? Don’t worry, we’ll put it in the blockchain for ya.
I don’t understand the fixation on high IQ in the quoted tweet. Is someone with a high IQ dying somehow worse than anyone else dying due to those garbage vehicles?
presumably, yes. Somebody with that high an IQ could potentially do something like feed a hundred thousand people for the forseeable future with the sheer depth of their intelligence. Where some random rich idiot won't benefit humanity for crap.
It's a joke by a well known shitposter
Ah thanks!
this reads like these idiots hopped into a gta car got clipped into a wall at random and the damned car blew itself up as a fail safe
Cybertruck is actually more dangerous than GTA cars. You can at least get out of those when they're on fire
Introducing Tesla's new product: the CyberGrill.
The dumbest and ugliest deathtrap
People with more dollars than sense 🙃
Pretty sure everyone is dead at that point
“To its credit, the Cybertruck sent police an automatic alert that it had crashed at 3:08 am Wednesday morning, according to KCRA, though police received another 911 call from a person at the same time.” To its credit (?!)
The fact that immediate notification wasn’t enough to probably even save their bones is terrifying. Pretty sure if they didn’t have a vehicle stop to help that no one would have survived
Imagine being trapped inside of one of these, knowing you can't break a window to get out.
Fucking hell - a horrible way to go.
No one should have to die in a cybertruck.
Can't believe this had to be said, but for some reason it feels profound.
Wow. The car popped the curb on its own. Had nothing to do with the driver. 🙄
With any other car, I'd say the same. With the Cyber Trash, it might very well have popped on its own.
Yes, and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
Yes
Also not funny: “To its credit, the Cybertruck sent police an automatic alert that it had crashed at 3:08 am”
this really stood out
Those things are so ugly. I can't believe anyone wants them.
I absolutely do find it hilarious that they spent that much money on a dumpster fire with wheels, yes
That's absolutely horrifying and cements how terrible the cybertrcj is let alone the company manufacturer. There should be a complete recall now!
Rich people dying as a consequence of having more money than sense? Sounds fucking hilarious to me
I'd rather drive a 1970s Ford Pinto with the exploding gas tank. You'd still have a better chance than the Cybertruck
I won't say they deserved it, but if they were in that truck of their own free will, they kind of had it coming. I wouldn't be surprised if we later learn that they were forced to be there, though (I know I wouldn't ride in that rust collecting trash can unless I had a gun to my head).
I'm unsure what to expect from young people in these circles, and I don't hold out much hope that they'll realize the Tesla truck shouldn't exist. However, my major concern lies with the parents who hand over the keys of a 600+ horsepower, 6,600-pound monstrosity to their children.
"There's always a Dril Tweet!"
Very funny.
How many people is Tesla killing a day on average due to poor design expressly?
It's a battery fire and that can't be put out by normal means. My uncle tells me about it all the time. It's the same with solar panel batteries.
300 IQ males wouldn't be caught in a Cyberdump.
And Musk is wanting less regulations because he doesn't like them. He's the type of company owner that needs to be regulated.
downright aristotelian
Yes. It's hilarious. How TF is Elmo not in jail yet!?
Yup. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Cyber Trash - Killer Trash Truck
The only reason it's 300iq was because there were three of em.
It's even worse. There were four people in the car. Somebody was braindead (probably the owner) or everyone was below avg
Fuck, the horrors continue to get worse.
It's a useless piece of 💩 and they deserved their fate.🤷🏻♂️
I’m not saying it’s funny, I’m just saying it’s Thanksgiving and we all have a lot to be thankful for.
300 is the collective iq of the 3 men inside along with the computer powering that eyesore of a vehicle.
This is tragic, but ultimately nothing will change
Good quality there, right?
That shouldn't have been a fatal accident. 😢 This is why regulation of industry is a societal good.
You still can't buy them in New Zealand.
Sounds like they know better then us then.
TBF it might be less the fire than everyone has tacitly agreed that pulling these summbitches off our side roads is too much of a pain in the ass for us to take on as a society
Yeah I just had a quick google to make sure they're not allowed in Aus (they're not), Looks like the US is the only country that has to deal with their madness.
Good, keep it that way. Those fugly trucks should never be allowed in any country.
“The individual exited the car and was able to pull the person out, but the nature of the vehicle was a Cybertruck and the heat was just too intense." THE NATURE OF THE VEHICLE WAS A CYBERTRUCK, I’m fucking dying
Hahahaha. Ah, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA! Roasting to death in a rolling, poorly built stainless electric grill because the carmaker can't be bothered to provide simple egress in an emergency. Sorry not sorry.
300IQ males? "popped a kerb", ie, ran off the road and drove onto the footpath Then couldn't stop till they were wedged between a tree and a wall? 300 WHAT are you telling me now?
Maybe it meant cumulatively?
😆😬
Can't believe I didn't paraphrase Red Dwarf here: "I am Holly, the ship's computer, with an IQ of 6000; the same IQ as 6000 tesla drivers...or 12,000 Trump supporters"
Yes. Yes it is ☺️ darwin awards go to: cis american males. They win the award as a group!
i cooked the thanksgiving turkey this year in my tesla oventruck
While I enjoy schadenfreude as much as the next guy, a fiery death is not something I would wish lightly on someone -- even a Cybertruck owner.
Schadenfreude for the WIN!!
It was probably a lease if that makes you feel any better
whew -- i'd assumed these guys met an agonizing death in a vehicle they owned. feeling much better ty
LET'S GO DARWIN!
Its literally a dumpster fire.
NMC battery chemistry is lighter & faster for EVs, but prone to catching fire when punctured. LFP is heavier & slower but much safer. Guess which one Tesla uses in CT?
It’s kind of funny the Cybertruck is a giant death trap because Elon Musk is so obsessed with aesthetics over function the doors don’t have handles to open them and yet it’s so damn ugly.
I had a friend who survived 9/11 that died a few years later, in a similar car crash in a BMW. His legs were trapped under the dash.
3 college kids died 😟cybertrucks are so dangerous
remembering unsafe at any speed and this is such a different world now
Or- is it exactly the same, and we've made zero progress at all despite the flashy technology laid overall? *lights pipe and tries to lean dashingly against a pole but slips and instead falls into the street*
it's kind of like that but with a lot less concern about it now
At this point, knowing the risks and stories of these accidents isn't hidden by any means. If you ignore it and buy one anyways, Darwin is eventually gonna win.
An early Christmas miracle!
Teenagers rich enough to buy a cyber truck? We expect teenagers to take risks, but who actually bought them the stupid thing. That was probably adults with way too much money and way too little brains.
I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those things, but it appears at least 3 people would.
I probably would have at 18 years old :(
It's a good thing it costs too much for a working class 18-year-old to buy, then.
"A mother close to the families of the victims told ABC7 News all four people graduated from Piedmont High School in 2023 and were sophomores in college." I'm in UK so not sure but sophomores about 19 or 20, yeah? I don't think any bought the Deplorian. Perhaps a wealthy parent did. :/
Definitely their parents' money. I do not mourn the next generation of aristocrats. Frankly, this is good news.
We don't really know much about the two guys and the girl who died in that fire, don't know their political beliefs of each of them, what kind of people they were, or even if they were all willing passengers but I honestly wouldn't wish a death like that on anyone.
I don't really care about these people specifically. I don't want people generally to die and I think one of the worst things about Cybertrucks is that they are death traps.
Renting them is unfortunately an option though
Do not rent cars Just general advice Your going to be ripped off
Rent though Costco and it's not so bad
I thought they only rent cars if you are 25+? Or is that a state-by-state thing?
when using a proper car rental you do have to be at least 25 to rent, but I know there are people who rent their personal cars out and i'm not sure if those people are held to the same standards as car rental businesses (or if they do everything above board, lol).
I'm from Australia so I have no clue.
How old do you need to be in Oz before they let you rent a ute for hooning?
Just looked it up: 21 (But also cyber trucks are not sold here thank gods!)
My feelings concerning the cybertruck (and this story by association) is that if you can afford a cybertruck, you should be taxed until you can’t.
Absolutely sucks that these were teenagers. Absolutely unsafe, this shouldn't have been a fatal crash
Exactly. 3 teenagers and ppl are laughing. Gross behavior, and I am not a fan of Tesla or Musk
The prophesy.
I love the fact that it's not even legal to import to the EU because it violates so many safety laws.
I wonder whether there are more Kei trucks in the US or Cybertrucks in Europe. Because both do exist, legally, through various loopholes.
You may import them, simply not drive them on public roads.
Oh fine. I admit I oversimplified it.
The annual Darwin Awards nominations are now open.
the angle in the preview photo for that article makes the cybertruck look almost like an upside down chaos emerald shape wtf
Obama chuckled
You couldn’t pay me to get into one of those things
Well said DK
That sounds god awful. This is just another reason not to give a tax credit to people in California who buy Teslas.
Not to mention the time a cybertruck caught fire after hitting a fire hydrant. www.roadandtrack.com/news/a620099...
Dying in something I've repeatedly been warned is a deathtrap and advertised for its specific resistance to being breached and thus escaped from in an emergency to own the libs.
They were teenagers though. I hate cyber trucks and the people who buy them, but these were kids.
And at least one set of those parents bought that vehicle in spite of all the evidence supporting that the vehicles are dangerous. I feel terrible about the deaths and their families, but the list of Tesla casualties keeps growing without them being taken off the market.
It’s awful. And the regulatory environment will only get worse with Elon getting the keys to t)3 castle.
They were probably arguing about who was the Alpha
"Death by being Austin Powers'd between a wall and a tree" Funniest shit I've ever heard
i think it is hilarious
Tesla trucks are the submarines of the land for rich douches.
those unbreakable windows don't seem like such a hot idea now
In a just world Elon would be sued into poverty for this.
I don’t know why anyone would buy that hideous monstrosity. I noticed that they’re building Tesla all across Texas. I saw a new one driving home from work yesterday. I wish he’d get the hell out of Texas and go back to where he came from.
It’s fucking hilarious.
I used to live a block away from where this hideous wreck happened. The most vivid memory was the battery pack in flames in the middle of the road, a cop came with a small fire extinguisher, sprayed it and after a moment it reignited like a trick birthday candle… abc7.com/tesla-crash-...
Well, that and the half-Tesla stuck in the synagogue, but something about that unquenchable battery fire has always stuck with me.
I don't know. Yes? Also 300 is an average across the three people, yeah? It takes super specific intellectual deficits to wedge a car between a wall and a tree.
A regular at a nearby synagogue drives one of these to services. I can't help thinking about all of the terrible safety hazards they're wilfully ignoring every time they fire the damn thing up & hit the road.
Is that 300 combined?
The people in the car were recent high school graduates. Basically kids. They didn't buy the goddamn thing. Mocking their deaths here is really fucking gross.
Yeah, I’m gonna nope out of this one. Some articles made it sound like they were inebriated adults who should know better but it’s just wrenching to know they were kids. I feel horrible for their parents. 😞
Why would you get into such a stupid car, surely a high school graduate would have been educated enough to avoid them.
18 year olds are famously idiots and will always be idiots forever, no matter what expectations you push on them. Furthermore, public high school doesn't even try to teach any sort of decision making like that, it teaches them to pass standardized tests.
it takes a certain level of sophistication to be able to doublethink your way into thinking this naked, low-poly emperor is the most gorgeously dressed model ever
You sure they had much of a choice? Try to think through why they're catching a ride in the first place. What does that entail? What does that imply about the availability of independent transportation to them, like transit or their own car(s)?
I am in fact sure that no one is forced to driver a cybertruck yeah
Oh these poor kids, dad din't lend them his Lamborghini so they had to grab the Elon Coffin from their private parking lot!
What kind of parent would give the keys to a 600+ horsepower, 6600 pound brick and think things were going to go well???
die in a tesla fire because elon doesn't like handles
Schadenfreude is all I have left.
I feel bad for the passengers
Darwin Award hot list nomination?
Not to mention this is possibly the ugliest vehicle of all time.
amazingly, that was just from normal fire, the special magic fire didn't start in this crash.
Electric fires are harder to put out then petrol/diesel fires (Water and electricity don’t mix well) And Teslas have a tendency to catch fire more then competitors.
what makes electric cars really hard to put out is the lithium batteries, which weren't compromised in this crash so firefighters were actually able to put it out. 3 people still managed to die, tho.
What caught fire?
presumably an electrical fault caused the interior to catch flame because Tesla probably doesn't use fire retardant materials in order to save a few bucks per unit, and without fire retardants the petrochemical foams and plastics used for car interiors are basically napalm.
Maybe this will happen to trump, musk, his whole creepy entourage and the magats....... crash and burn!
I do and I’m tired of pretending otherwise
Something a bit grim about the car itself sending out a 911 call as the people in it were burning
This is awful. People’s loved family members died probably in panic and fear.
People’s loved family members die in panic and fear every day due to war and other injustices wrought upon them by forces outside of their control. Wasting your money on a Cybertruck while pretending all criticism towards it is just “libs being Elon haters” is completely their own doing.
I’m not sure what your point is other than to be stepping over bodies.
No point other than acknowledging that yes, avoidable deaths are also sad. Don’t step into the barely disguised silver dumpster, kids. We’ve not been shouting about how unsafe and irresponsibly built it is just for shits and giggles.
Then let people acknowledge its awfulness
I wouldn’t dream of stopping you. Though I’d also say the anger and frustration about all the ignored warning calls regarding the car is just as justified. And no amount of “we fcking told you so” brings these lost lives back. That’s the tragedy.
... Look I don't like Elon or his low poly deathtraps either but why the fuck are some of y'all like this. I don't think it's right to write people off as seething lib-dunkers in reaction to something as horrific as being cooked alive in a goddamn vehicle, then cite current world events-
- in some shitty means to turn this into a comparison of who has it worse. I can recognize the clear and present atrocities and injustices of today while simultaneously recognizing something as awful as this. "Self afflicted" or not.
May be their parents car.
Maybe, that’d make it even worse. Ya’ll acting like I said they deserved to die for driving a Cybertruck or something. In reality I’m lamenting how our warnings about the stupid thing repeatedly landed on deaf ears, and we now see results like this. Big, big difference.
Because at the end of the day the loss of human life is still just that. Awful. I guess your hate for that asshole is so strong it supercedes your empathy in this specific case.
But hey, what do I know, I'm just some furfag in the replies with a cellular device made possible through the exploitation of another country's finite resources. Tldr; That take is in incredibly poor taste. What the fuck.
Note that these replies are all in response to not the news article, but to wint’s post regarding it. If this had been a thread of grieving people responding to the news article, you wouldn’t have heard a peep out of me. Anyway, this is the last I wanna say on it; bsky.app/profile/pika...
They were just kids
College students, yes. Very sad. Especially moreso because it could’ve been avoided.
Womp womp. Don't vote for Trump/Elon then.
Who knew greek fire was just batteries?
Could have very well been lots of lithium
I’m so sorry. There have been more crashes with Tesla models than any other car maker. When will this be investigated? Not this term, obviously, will need to be consumer watchdogs or the next presidency, God willing.
correction, more fatal accidents with tesla then any other manufacturer
if anything there needs to be some sort of regulation on all car batteries because they burn so hot that firefighters cannot put them out.
Dril relevant no matter the social media platform
Please delete this.
Oh no (crocodile tears)
"...engulfed," Piedmont Police Chief Jeremy Bowers told KTVU. "The individual exited the car and was able to pull the person out, but the nature of the vehicle was a Cybertruck and the heat was just too intense." the nature of the vehicle was a cybertruck
Yeah I kept wondering if this part was written by ai, I mean it’s gold but wtf?
I think he was tryna have his own small boulder the size of a large boulder moment lol
i can only infer that the writer shres
i can only infer that the writer shres
i can only infer that the writer shres
i can only infer that the writer shres
I wonder if firefighters tried but the danger of the cybertruck was too high to the rescue team to continue
"The nature of the vehicle was a cybertruck" sounds like what you would say about some unhealthy backyard mutt that was bred for size and violence alone and has a life expectancy of 3 years before it succumbs to cancer and arteritis.
If you think they cyber truck is cool I got some bad news for you
Geico will not insure them. Tesla put in a dealership on tribal land near me so he could bypass the dealership rules in the state. I drive by it every time we run errands and see those high tech dumpsters. Still don’t see too many on the road though.
A musk suicide bomber. They volunteer & pay the price.
At least the next box they're in will be more desirable than what they died in. I think I would almost rather die inside my dad than a cybertruck.
so did the story change? The fire was contained easily because the battery pack didn't catch fire..... but ok.
Didn't this just happen in India last week?
$100,000 and you too can get Cyberf*cked.
Oh my God, the Cyber truck is literally a low poly Canyonero
The Simpson’s do it again.
CYBERNEROOOOOOOOO!
Ralph Nader would have been aaaaaallll over this.
He may very well be right now… if you haven’t listened to his weekly show Ralph Nader Radio Hour I highly recommend it - and his newspaper Capitol Hill Citizen, also top notch stuff.
300 IQ was the collective total between the four in the car.
I believe it is what the Crusaders referred to as “liberal woke-ass fire”
It’s a tragic and pitiful type of amusement, yes
Is the cement wall okay? 🙏
It is amazing that the most reliable part of the cybertruck is gonna end up to be the self driving 🤣 Sure, it can drive itself but can it do it in one piece?
That is awful!! I just saw one of those for the first time in person a few days ago and I just thought it was hideous. And these things are so dangerous. I'm so sorry for those people and their families.
It’s tragic that they died. But it was inevitable with these vehicles - they weren’t designed with human safety in mind.
Yep
The Cybertruck can be upcycled into a coffin so we can keep burying metal underground.
Can't stop winning 👏
This stupid vehicle is such an obvious death trap for anyone who drives one. But, because Elon is rich, he can just wave his hand, say, "stop being a pussy," and get away with it.
This is what happens when you let someone design with no thought to pesky safety regulations. I feel sorry for the kids, but maybe their parents will give a thought about how better government regulations could have saved three lives
i follow dell and dril both and i hadn’t seen either Bluey on my Skyline.
Thanks for this
Exiting that vehicle via smashing ( side) windows is much harder than typical vehicles “ Armour glass” and that’s a big problem and is promoted as a feature
Everytime I see that vehicle it reminds me of a 6 year olds art project made out of cardboard boxes, held together with tape.
huh,,
Whyyyyyyyy was it on fire though??
Introducing the new Tesla Pinto!
I’m so old, my parents owned a Pinto
There were only 27 deaths related to the Ford Pinto There have been 56 deaths related to Tesla’s autopilot issues alone, that doesn’t take into account deaths from other manufacturing issues The NTSB is not keeping us safe anymore
In the coming months as more regulations are lifted and reversed we're going to see Teslas be even more of the deathtraps than they already are. Even know it's so bad I don't drive anywhere near a Tesla because of how dangerous they are.
The pinto Was once hailed as the worst car because of one accident where it caught fire. Now I may be wrong here, but Teslas burning their people alive seems to be pretty common.
Tesla has killed like 20 times as many people as the Pinto
::homer bart meme:: the worst car SO FAR!
> simpsons i am obligated to post this www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI_J...
"unexplained fires are a matter for the courts canyoneroooo"
I thought that was a persistent problem.
yeah i think it's funny
Yup! I'm still laughing 😃
Blame elon
I hate peelon cuck and Cybertrucks just as much as the next rational person but honestly no one deserves this, especially young kids :(
Except these ones were teenagers. Which makes it less funny.
Finally there's a more embarrassing option to dying after getting hit by a Smart, being roasted alive in a WankPanzer. Thanks Elmo.
God bless Darwinism.
This isn't how fascists typically eat their own, but leave it to Elon to put a new technological spin on an old tradition.
These were three teenagers man
And? I’m not the one who put them in a death trap, but an incompetent fascist assuming he knows better than safety regulations leading to the deaths of those who believe their cult shit is absolutely an example of the way fascism just ends up hurting everyone, including their own.
yeah I would not describe three teenagers as "their own"
It’s like we are back in the ‘60s again, with an updated version of the Corvair.
What a depressing thread this is. I think when you’re laughing at basically kids (however ill-informed they might be) horrifically burning to death in a vehicle, you really have to ask yourself if you’re still one of the good guys.
Like somebody said higher up in this thread, somewhere in this whole mess are parents that gave keys to a 600+hp, 6,600lbs monstrosity to 20-year-old kids and let them drive with it at 3 AM in the morning. WHat could go wrong? Now we know.
peepee doodoo
Gallows humor is helpful when you feel oppressed and/or depressed. I don't want Elon Musk's literal or metaphorical children to be harmed in any way, but I will laugh when it happens.
Yes that’s fair enough. I’m not sure everyone I’ve seen commenting is so level-headed. I feel like my previous comment alone could provoke violence from some but hopefully it’s just their way of expressing themselves. It all feels a bit… Twitter.
I don't know you, but I love you and hope you see the things you want to see on here, especially today. I hope it gives you that Bluesky feeling.
You were one of the folks scolding people who were laughing at the billionaire on the exploding sub weren’t you
ну конкрето мне было жаль того пацанёнка в субмарине
nobody buying a cybertruck is a good person or someone society needs
How about their children? College kids probably aren't dropping a hundred k on a truck. How many degrees of separation does deserving to burn alive extend?
The children of the wealthy are arguably the biggest threat to the planet. Tesla is owned by one of them and he just bought the Presidency of the United States.
Yes they are. They embody a terrible, selfish, destructive system. It's still horrible when they're trapped in a badly-designed car and burn alive though.
Perpetuate. They perpetuate it.
No, it'd be horrible if they somehow survived. They're dead. Their suffering has abated. They will not have to go on the waiting list for a face transplant.
I mean, look, I'm furious at any death from a car accident, I wish there weren't car accidents, I think the entire auto industry needs to go up on a wall for all the work they've done ratfucking the American cityscape and ruining the environment, but Republican suburb-worship creates this situation
If anything michael myers was doing us all a favor lowkey
Addiction to the power fantasy of owning your whole big machine and taking it anywhere you want (especially a place so far away from any useful service that poor people cannot walk there) has resulted in a situation where we let people die and my pity does not start with people in a cybertruck
This might be a side tangent, but Elon designed the truck without regard for modern vehicle safety design. So, the moral outrage about those kids death should be directed toward him rather than anyone else.
Oh, I'm sure everyone in this conversation knows that, but it detracts from the central point in this discussion that the instigators are trying to get across, which is that they are morally kinder and better than the rest of us because their emotions are purer
Reminds me of people who spend more time and money building an RV that could get them through the Apocalypse… except that it gets 3 miles to the gallon and needs to be regularly hooked up to water and sewer.
Remember, Cybertruck owners are overwhelmingly Trumpers. You know... the bad guys.
What? So we're at the point where 3 kids burning to death is just collateral damage? Hard pass on that.
Piedmont is an area that votes 85+% Democratic so the probability that these people were Trumpers is pretty low actually.
This changes how I view stuff... still nauseated by the idea of anyone buying a Cybertruck.
Well, two wrongs don’t make a right. I deeply dislike Musk and Cybertrucks but I can’t imagine ever laughing at another person burning to death unless they were truly contemptible. All I see here is generalised assumptions and hate. Nasty, regardless of which ‘side’.
"unless they were truly contemptible" once you've got that qualification it's only a difference of where you decide to draw the line...
i dont think trumpers deserve to die over having bad opinions
What about taking material action to install a murderous and genocidal Christofascist regime.
they are still human beings. plus the people driving the above car were teenagers. what exactly did they install.
Uhhhh they were college aged and older?
You can be a teenager in college.
Are you aware of being old enough to vote
i voted for hillary clinton in my first election. we all make mistakes. for many we've barely passed the threshold by that point, we don't know better. i'm just saying. they had just barely entered adulthood. i think saying someone deserves death after barely hitting, if even hitting, 20 is wild.
Me and mine deserve to live. I know my enemy.
There's nothing stopping Trump supporters from buying Chevys and Toyotas though
okay. but we're not talking about that. cybertrucks are unsafe and shouldn't be allowed to be sold.
Aren't we though? It's about bad people making bad decisions
Progressives and leftists aren't buying fugly Muskmobiles.
Well the ones that aren’t thick as eight bricks aren’t
I haven't seen anyone left of Katy Perry buying a Cybertruck.
A lot of people in the tech space buy or would buy them Yes many in the tech space are quite far right (creepy about women is the common theme) But others are just incredibly stupid They disagree with “elons tweets” but still think the cars are cool
Darwin is Karma's cousin, and if one doesn't visit, the other surely will.
Surprised that thing got over the curb.
Why would you drive this fucking monstrosity of a car
The worst people imaginable are buying The Car That Kills You and I think that is beautiful
I see why the man (Wint, not Elon) is a legend.
EV's are generally safe, its like Tesla tried to make this one dangerous. it looks like a "future car" from a 70's movie- dumb.
It's a feature.
I guess nature really *IS* self correcting.
Oceantruck Cybergate
Dril is the Nostradamus of our time
I do. And I'm tired of pretending it's not.
www.youtube.com/shorts/tp0FF...
yeah you super do not want to be involved in a cybertruck fire that shit is going to take specialized equipment to put out if the batteries go which they will
I think it’s funny that anyone thinks someone with a 300 IQ would buy a car with well-known problems. They’re not THAT insecure and should be smart enough to not risk their lives for approval - unlike the poster who appears to be very insecure about their IQ.
can confirm the fire had more degrees than the '300 iq' males
How do you open the doors in an event like this? Seems like horrible doors to have on your mobile crematorium
While it seems like people are dying in Cybertrucks all the time, remember that the majority of Cybertruck drivers are absolutely safe, because their vehicles have suffered a catastrophic failure -- got wet, exposed to sunlight, driven off the lot -- and are no longer functional i.e. not a threat.
Three x 100 IQ males. FIFH
A touch generous, but I'll allow it.
Nine x 25 IQ males
Wow, that's almost dumb enough to believe that IQ is real!
No wait you're right, it should be 12 x 25 IQ males Ty
With the towing and storage capacity of a Cybertruck, there’s no way it could be more than 6 or 7. With credit to @fullslack.bsky.social for the original post.
...How is Daihatsu still this goated.
and credit to @magnus919.com who took the picture and owns the kei truck!
I’m thankful for both of you today and the contributions to my feed!
So glad to be living in a period of such innovation in vehicles to kill rich people, to think just a few short years ago we only had the helicopter.
We had hope for the segway
Imagine if Kobe died by cybertruck instead of helicopter
Sadly, it was three kids who died because their parents bought a stupid landmine with wheels
There’s a lot of potential in submarines, and let’s not forget about yachts being sunk by orcas I do love some variety
It’s nice that the orca have chosen now to get back into their fish hats fashion, they’ve been working hard and deserve to treat themselves
Wear the rich.
😎🤣🤣🤣
The Titan pulled its weight, I'd say
The rich are good people… deep down. 🛥️
They definitely make for a rich meal 🦈
So a guillotine but with wheels? American innovation at its best.
Maybe those Cybertrucks need built in breathalyzers, not just a hot line to the police.
Attacking the 4 people in the vehicle is outrageously inappropriate. This is a horrific event for all families involved. So much for BlueSky being somehow different than X/Twitter.
Time for people to understand lithium ion, gasoline has nothing on lithium ion when it's exposed to air, it burns like a torch.

Do you think car fires only happen to Teslas?
sad but like, what did you expect from an elon car😑
From the article, "To its credit, the Cybertruck sent police an automatic alert that it had crashed at 3:08 am Wednesday morning,..." No, you do not, in fact have to give the Tesla credit.
What a hideous looking death trap that is. Sue Elon. Make him poor
almost as if giant blocks of non-crump-able steel is hard to get through to save people in mortal peril.... just a thought.
In that area, the real hazard is the windows all being laminated glass -- apparently without an emergency egress system to pop it out of frame. There's not enough room in the cabin to build up a strong enough strike to shatter and pierce it quickly; even an emergency exit tool would have trouble.
yeah almost forgot about that,,, the cybertruck is literally a coffin on wheels because you are sure as hell gonna die inside it
I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out that the reason that their friend from the other car couldn't save more than one passenger was because he spent so much time fighting to get into the vehicle, that the fire had spread too far to save more.
considering its a lithium batter ran car, that fire spread quickly and in less than two minutes. Would have been humanly impossible to safe one more, lithium fires are a bitch to put out and insanely easy to start and quick to spread. And the cybertruck has a shit ton of flammable crap inside
Teslas also seem to catch fire a lot more easily than the average EV. I hope Elon gets sued hard.
