Seriously tho, Jem and the Holograms was awesome, and is such an under-appreciated retro property. An episode can start out with the band recording a music video with an avante garde kinetic sculptor and veer in to them trying to uncover a jewel smuggling operation.
You know what I liked the most of Jem and The Holograms? The art made by Sharon Knettel. For me she defines 80's style, with the clothing, poses, backgrounds, everything. A truly astounding artist.

I'm surprised there's not more G.I. Joe/Jem stuff out there. They did a cover where the Misfits jammed with Cold Slither, but I think that's it for official stuff.
I co wrote a fic where Jem/Jerrica falls for Cover Girl after the latter saves her during a Cobra attack in LA
