Interesting. One thing I don’t understand; how does it consume water? I understand the user of water in cooling, but that’s normally a closed system. Does it “consume” 26ml in the sense that 26ml provides enough cooling?

Some use evaporative cooling which is cheaper than chilling water.

Pretty much all the big data centers use evaporative.

and do they capture the water again? I presume it's not just released to the atmosphere.
