We are the stupidest country ever in allowing this bullshit to continue. Any other country would have already called for a 'no confidence' vote, snap elections, his arrest, something!! But we seem to be able to do nothing but watch this guy for the next 4 years burn our country to the ground.
Two things...we need to become the majority in Congress. Something needs to be done about SCOTUS!

Who would have thought that the checks and balances, devised to keep such a person from perverting the cause of democratic governance, would be so easily turned against itself.
1. I don’t think the writers of the Constitution envisioned a President so corrupt, or sufficiently corrupt Senators & Reps to enable subversion of the checks & balances the Legislative & Judicial branches should provided. Trump is a vengeful useful idiot. GOP “leadership” has enabled ALL of this.
2. Mitch McConnell enabled packing the Supreme Court with corrupt Justices. Then he prevented Trump from being convicted in his impeachments, thus allowing him to run for a second term. Thune & Johnson are carrying on in the same fashion, assuring Trump can destroy our country. IT.IS.SHAMEFUL.
They convince themselves that the real problem is socialism dressed up as liberalism, and that in defeating it, the end justifies any means.

So what can you do? As an Aussie watching on in horror and amazement, I haven't heard a single viable suggested plan of action from anyone, much less anyone close to power. What can be done?!
Us “regular folks” are at a loss. We rely on the courts, & never had a plan for when the courts fail or are complicit. We are stunned and “taking yo the streets” did not even move the dial. Assassinations didn’t move the dial. Etc etc. It is a living nightmare here. Anxiety & anger is rampant.

General strike, boycotts, and an absolute refusal to serve the rich, sell them food or water, etc. All of the above. It has to be multi-pronged to work.

The GOP could stop this in a nanosecond. If you have a GOP Rep. you should be standing outside of their home offices every single day with thousands of your neighbors. Enough is enough. The GOP must regain control of Congress from Trump.

AFAIK, the US Constitution does not provide for a no confidence vote. The closest things are the midterm elections and Congress and the Courts doing their job.
As I said, all we can do is watch this guy as he burns our country to the ground, because whatever congress and the courts are doing, he's not stopping. We'll be lucky to even have midterm elections...
