For years I used to lose my temper at work and then feel horrible about it. Then I went into therapy for something totally unrelated, and the therapy gave me the skills to monitor my mental state and avoid that problem.

I've done a lot of DBT and I'm orders of magnitude better than I used to be, but one is never done learning

DBT is exactly the form of therapy that worked for me. Glad to hear you've also gotten good results from it.
