The farther the Dems have moved to the Right in their quest to bring in more corporate money, the further the GOP is able to go in order to differentiate themselves. My belief is that if the Dems move back to populist economic policy, the GOP will be forced back toward the center.

I don't know. I believe that ship has sailed. That's the exact same logic that Biden, Pelosi and Schumer had after the election that after Trump was removed from the picture the GOP would realize their error. Hubris, complete hubris as the GOP has doubled down on going right since 2000 every cycle.
