I'm not a fan of Democrats or Newsom, but he's done a great job of stepping up and doing something. He's done a lot of interviews (YouTube/podcasts) and he talks about ICE along with the maps/Congress issue. Other Democrats are speaking out too, hopefully more will do more than speak out.

Because the news cycle is flooded with horrors like this and pandering talking heads who can't focus on anything more than what's going to get them another dollar in advertising. They're speaking, but their reach has been limited by Trump and piss poor media.
