I would say courageous because there’s no fucking way I could put video of myself dancing online, no matter what I looked like. People are fucking mean, and I couldn’t handle that. It truly takes courage to handle it!

She does bring up some damn good points there. For me, I have crippling social anxiety, and have passed out right before I had to give a speech before; I have less fear of jumping out of a plane than I do of what that young woman did there in that video.

The *ONLY* performance activity that I never experienced fear before or during the execution of was figure skating, and that was because I completely lost myself in it. I didn’t even notice anything else around me (including the boards, which I ran into at least once during a competition!)
