J.Crew is under fire for using AI for their ad campaign. I work in the fashion industry, and this is happening more than people realize. My issue with AI-generated ads isn’t the tech, it’s the possibility of outright theft of intellectual property and likeness.
Astoundingly lame. Companies like that are the ones that should be using real models, showing their actual products. It's basically false advertising. A complete mess. Lazy people, cutting too many corners.
Big corporations steal from innovators because the judicial system and USPTO are engineered to bankrupt people who try to assert their intellectual property rights. Soon, AI will be exempt from regulations because America is a kleptocracy.

And, what’s even crazier is realizing if AI is in the news so much now, it’s already been seeping into so many facets of our lives for decades longer. Once something is released for mass public consumption and commerce, it’s because the rulers have already manipulated it to their own liking.

I don't understand where the difference between AI generated content and photoshopped content is. It takes more time using photoshop without AI but the output is the same fake picture. I understand the intellectual property problem but know no solution.
