He's going to try to do that anyway. Only in blue states (at first). I think it's good to mock the thin-skinned, always enraged nut as frequently & as publicly as possible. I think it weakens him, especially compounded by his many failures & low approval ratings. Trying to appease him is pointless.
Being abusive towards people with different opinions to your own has a polarizing effect which populists like Trump encourage and thrive on. People need to find common ground and agree to disagree affably. That’s the only way to make democracy work and keep it viable as a form of governance.
