We need to create a culture of emotionally intelligent people who look out for the symptoms of psychosis and find ways to care enough for the worst of us that they want to live and want to seek help. I wish I knew how to make that happen.

Hey, look. Blaming this on mentall illness is a distraction. It’s not the problem. It’s ableist af. The mentally ill are less likely to commit violent acts and the majority of mass shooters are not diagnosably ill. This is a problem of endemic cultural narratives. Malthusian ideologies.

Mental illness is uniformly distributed across human populations. We are only 4% of the world. No one else has this problem. England and Japan are both racist and imperialist. Only America lets everyone buy military grade weapons.
