I agree. But Trump is in such poor shape overall, odds are it will not take a decade. The real fear should be that as he declines who is going to to try to fill the power vacuum. Knives are already out. Does Trumpism last after Trump? I do not trust motives of anyone in politics at all
Seems to me his decline started a decade ago. There's plenty of video evidence over the last decade of his slow decline. It's been more rapid in the last 4 years which is also apparent in video footage.
True. But it very typical for anyone his age, especially when they seem oblivious to simple healthy habits that can extend the time of your life when you can have decent quality of life. Having many relatives who lived well past 80, I have always considered 80 the tipping point 4 health challenges
It certainly can be. I'm glad he hates actual food, because it definitely tips the scales. But, both his parents lived until late 80s/early 90s, so there's the possibility he just continues dragging on for quite some time.
No, it's not typical to have that much of a decline. Yeah, we all decline, we all have senior moments, but his are much more severe.
I'm speaking of from this stage of heart failure, decline can be a decade. His dementia symptoms are proceeding more rapidly than his heart failure symptoms, so I'd expect that to be more of an issue in the shorter the next 3 -5 years.
True. CHF can last a very long time, and there are medications that take strain off the heart. However, life gets harder. Many people end up on diuretics which are unpleasant. Others have to limit activity because of having less energy. Face it, we can’t live forever.
Eventually, those meds stop working. It doesn't happen suddenly, it's a progressive decline. He looks to me like he's on the decline.
Until I see otherwise I’m going to assume he’ll live forever.
That is what I used to say about my mother-in-law. She lived to be 98 1/2. Unlike Trump she was a good person. The best mother-in-law a woman could have.
