Whoa! I donated to Catelin Drey over a month ago after the amazing @trumpstaxes.com highlighted her long-shot special election in Iowa. Not gonna lie, I tuned it out these last couple weeks. I’ve been tuning most politics out. Just logged onto this app again, and saw that she won!!!!
My very small $ donation wasn’t the difference, but goes to show that local races matter, tons are winnable and all should be highlighted! Accounts like @trumpstaxes.com and @the-downballot.com and of course @thedlcc.bsky.social (and more) do a great job of hyping lesser-known contests.
